This will fix the issue when the SMART Client error appears at the top of Pinewood DMS (as below)

First thing to do is check that Pinewood DMS is set as a trusted site. To do this, open up an internet explorer browser and press the cog in the top right.

 

When given the drop-down menu, select 'internet options

 

Once clicked, a pop up box will appear. Click 'security' at the top.

Then click 'Trusted Sites'

Make sure that the security level is set to medium, as shown in the red box at the bottom.

Click the 'sites' button to then bring up the next box.

 

Once there, type in *.pinewooddms.com and then add it to the box of trusted sites.

Make sure the 'Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone' is un-ticked.

Press 'Add' to add the website to the list below.

Then press close. 

Press 'OK' on the remaining box, and then try Pinewood DMS again.
