How to stop a sales ledger account exceeding it's credit limit?

If you can post to a Sales Ledger Transaction Account even though the Credit Limit is set to 0.00 you will need to change this value. You will need to set a minimum limit of 1.00, if it is set to 0.00 the system will recognise this as an unlimited amount.
To change this you will first need to go to Accounts > Sales Ledger > Transaction Accounts and search for the Transaction Account.
From here if you double click on the account you can click Amend which will allow you to edit the details of the account.
Change the Credit Limit to 1.00 or anything higher depending on your preference and save it.
After this has been set the Credit Limit will be governed by the parameters set against the master account parameters. It can either be set to Prevent sale or Warn but do nothing.
