How would you allow Journals on a Nominal Code?

Answer

You will need to go to:

Accounts > Nominal Ledger > Ledger Parameters, go the Master Codes tab

Then search for the Nominal Code.

Double click into the code.

Now click Amend and tick the box next to 'Allow Journals' - then Save.

Now this has been ticked, you will be able to journal to this account.
