A ‘While-U-Wait’ diary can be set up allowing while you wait operations to be booked and carried out at specific times of the day.
Select Workshop> Parameters > WUW Parameters from the side menu.
The WUW parameters screen contains three sections.
• Bay Maintenance • Times Available • WUW Diary Lead Times
Bay Maintenance
This section is when waiting bays are created and named. To create a bay select the ‘Add’ button to open the ‘Edit WUW Bay’ window.
Enter the name and description of the bay. The No of technician’s field is not active at present. With all fields complete select ‘Accept’. The bay will not be available to use until the opening times are entered.
Times Available
Highlighting the required bay will activate the ‘Times Available’ section.
Double click on a specific day to open the ‘Edit Times’ window, from the drop down menus select the (AM) and (PM) start and end times.
With all times completed select accept. Repeat the process until all required days have been set up.
WUW diary lead time
This section allows you to set a lead time within hours for a next booking, an alternate booking and a parts booking:
With all required fields complete select ‘Accept’ to save any changes
You can also print the information entered if required by selecting the Print option;
