Why have my Automatic Journals not posted?
Answer
It is important to remember that automatic journals still need a process to post.
These will not be posted until a nominal ledger update has been run, to do this follow the side menu path of:
Accounts > Nominal Ledger > Update
Upon clicking next, you will get a popup with all the automatic journals that are due to be run, if any of these involve open items you will need to double click to process these.
On clicking next this will run journals for the period you are in and any open periods in the past.
Once you have run an automatic journal for a period, the system will not let you run this again. If you are not sure if you have run this, there is no danger in attempting to run again.
