The 'Time Management' section is utilised to create and name the respective clock reasons used during the workshop process.
To view these parameters go to: Workshop > Parameters > Time Management > Reasons.
There are three categories available from the drop-down menu:
- Finish: The descriptions entered against this category will be available to technicians when clocking off a job
- Allowed Idle: The descriptions entered here will be available to view when selecting the 'Allowed Idle' option during the clocking routine
- Start Reasons: The descriptions within this category will only be available if clocking onto a job as a whole and not clocking on individual operations
The finish reasons must be mapped to a finish category so that when a technician clocks on and off an operation the categories within the Job Progress are updated.
They must also be mapped to the Tech+ category so when an operation is placed on quality control the correct status is displayed within the Tech+ app.
A default clock-out reason must also be selected so that if a technician clocks out of the system, the system will clock the technician off the operation using the default reason.
The available categories are:
- Work Completed
- On Hold
- Awaiting Authorisation
- Quality Control
- Resume
Please Note: When setting the default clock-out reason, the system will always set the 'Finish Category' to 'Resume'.
Please Note: Allowed Idle can be utilised where a technician does not have a job to clock onto but is still working on behalf of the company ie. Workshop Maintenance, Collection and Delivery, Training etc.
To create clocking reasons select a category from the drop-down menu.
Select the 'Add' button to open the 'Add Description' window where you can fill out all the relevant details:
