The 'Customer Enquiry' option allows the interrogation of CRM records without having to go through the Booking process. 

Select Workshop > Booking > Customer Enquiry:

Enter the customer or vehicle detail and select 'Search'. If a customer with the same details exist within the database the details will display as below:

Alternatively, if searching for a vehicle and the details exists within the database the details will display as below:

Please Note: It is mandatory to search the database before the 'New Customer' button is available. 

Select the customer by double clicking the search result and the CRM record will display: 

Select the Customer record by clicking the 'Customer' tab located at the top of the screen. 

To update the record select the 'Amend' button to make the screen active. When all changes are made, select the 'Save' option. 

Please Note: When the record is saved the 'Amended By' field is populated with the users name and a date/time stamp: 

To view vehicle information select the 'Vehicle' tab located at the top of the screen. 

Select the 'Amend' button to make the screen active and available for updating. 

Select the 'Add Vehicle' option to open a blank 'Vehicle Details' screen enabling a new vehicle to be added to an existing customer record. If more than one vehicle is attached to the customer's CRM record then the window will display as below, where you would need to select the appropriate vehicle:

To break the link between customer and vehicle select the 'Amend' button and select the 'Owner/Driver/Keeper' field:

The following window will display: 

Three options are available: 

  • Accept: Saves any changes made to this screen 
  • Cancel: Returns the user to the 'Vehicle Details' screen 
  • Clear: Removes the contents of the above window 

The Owner/Driver/Keeper fields are active and therefore can be selected. 

Select the relevant field to open the search window to search for the required customer's record. If the search is successful double click on the returned result. Alternatively, if the customer record is not found create a new record. 

To view the 'Service Details' of a vehicle select the 'Service Details' tab:

Located towards the lower section of the screen is the vehicle history. From here invoice copies can be obtained. From the history section, double click on the required line to open a copy of the invoice.
