How to search for PL and SL Accounts by Bank or Company Number?
Answer
The option to search by bank account detail or company registration number has been added to several
pages in Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Cash Book.
The following screens will look as below, including a Company Number and Bank Account search field:

- Purchase Ledger Post Invoice Account Search Screen
- Sales Ledger Account Enquiry Screen
- Cash Book Receipts – Sales Ledger Account Search Screen
You are able to search by a bank account or registration number, through going to one of the above screens, and searching in the boxes highlighted below.
Bank search field will search the following fields and return an account if a match is found in any of the
following:
- Sort Code
- Account Number
Company Number search will return a result if a match is found in the Account’s Company Registration
number field.
