How can I adjust the stock holding of a parts in Pinewood DMS, if there is a discrepancy between the number of parts we have on the system to how many we have in stock?
Answer
You may want to do a stock adjustment. This should only be used as a last resort as you can change the stock holding of a part by receipting or returning the part.
You can do this by going to Parts > Maintenance > Adjustments.
In here you can select the part you wish to adjust then type in the new stock holding. You must also select a reason for the adjustment.
Once you press add part it will move to the bottom section of the screen. You then press Accept to make the changes.
You can then view any adjustments by going to Parts > Reporting > Movements and using the movement type of adjustment to view all between the date range selected.
