Question

How can I record of how much Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Weight is currently being stored in the Parts department by recording new and existing parts?

Answer

A field has been designed to allow for the recording of VOC weight against parts, allows entry of a
numerical value to two decimal places.

All changes to the VOC Weight field are recorded on the Amendment Audit report.

VOC on Non-Stock Parts

Option to add a VOC weight to a non-stock part created via Parts > Maintenance >
Create/Amend. The VOC Weight field is not mandatory and can be left blank.

Where the non-stock part has a completed VOC Weight field this will be displayed on the part
record.

VOC Stock Report

Within the Reporting section – Reporting > Stock > VOC Stock. This
report will only return parts records if:
• A recorded VOC value is greater than 0
• The part is active

Hovering your mouse over the headings will present the following helpful descriptions:
• Stock Value – Average Cost * Stock On Hand
• SOH – Stock On Hand
• SOO – Stock On Order
• VOC Weight – VOC Weight * Stock On Hand
You are able to drill down to the individual part record from any listed part within this report.

VOC Stock Report Export

Export button displayed allows you to download the report for further review within Microsoft
Excel.

There are number of fields contained on the Export that will have a different description to the
part record.
The listing below shows the mapping between the export field names and the part record.
