How do I amend the Parts Discount on an invoice?
Answer
On a parts invoice within Parts > Sales > Invoice, you can amend the discount against the part.
To do this, when entering the part you will see the ‘Discount (%)’ box available.
Here you can manually type in the percentage of discount you would like to apply and the system will automatically change the issue price accordingly.
There is also a report in which you can see if the there was a discount amendment made
This is found in Parts > Reporting > Sales > Discount Exceptions
Search for the relevant date range
This will show you what the price was before and after the discount along with other relevant information such as the part number, difference, invoice number etc.
