How do I show a Narrative on a Parts Invoice?
Answer
When a part is added to a job you have the option of adding a narrative to the part.
You can do this on the Part > Sales > Invoice screen, by searching for a part and then clicking the Narrative button.
You get the following pop up.
Click Accept and then Accept the part.
You will see that when the part is added the Narrative column on the far right hand side is also now populated.
When the invoice is produced you will see the narrative under the part number.
It is important to note that some parts will automatically populate the narrative field. These parts are tyres when they are pulled from the tyre catalogue. They will populate the narrative with information about the tyre.
