You may find the system will stop you raising or invoicing workshop jobs if the sales ledger credit limit has been exceeded. How can I resolve this issue?
Answer
If you need to use this account you will either have to pay off the invoices attached to the account to reduce the balance so it is underneath the credit limit.
If you want to increase the credit limit you need to go to Accounts > Sales Ledger > Transaction accounts.
If you press amend, you can then up the credit limit against this account. Alternatively there is also an option to choose what happens when a sales ledger credit limit is exceeded in Accounts - Sales Ledger - Ledger Parameters. Go into the Master Parameters tab. There is an "If Credit Limit Exceeded" parameter.
You can press amend then choose from either: Prevent sale or warn but do nothing.
