How can Service Teams be set up within Pinewood DMS?
Answer
Service Teams will need to be enabled by Pinewood. Please contact support if this has not been previously enabled.
Note: This cannot be used if the commercial diary is being used
Once service teams are enabled you can set them up within
Workshop > Parameters > Service teams
You can assign technicians to teams and can see how many jobs our ongoing for each team,
Teams can be added or deleted with in this screen
If you select add you can create a new team for example βgreen teamβ.
Once created you can organise and add new technicians to the team.
If you drill into the team by double-clicking, it will then pre-populate with the technicians associated with that team.
You can add or remove new technicians. To do this, click on the technician you want to change then click add, delete or ordering.
In the right-hand box, you can see all the current booking dates for that team and the associated job number these can be reallocated to different teams if required by double-clicking. You then get a drop down box to move to a different team;
