Within the Enquiry screen, you are able to search for all existing CRM records contained within your system, the use of a wide variety of different search functions are available to you as soon as you enter this window:

The system is designed to prevent the duplication of CRM data wherever possible – for this reason, the system does not allow users to create a new CRM record until a search has first been completed.

The closest match to the search criteria used is displayed at the top of the screen, with all other alternatives listed in alphabetical order down the page. If there are more records returned than can be displayed on the screen, the β€˜Next’ option can be used to display the next page of results.

If you only have partial information to search on an * or a % can be placed before or after the search criteria to perform a partial search.

Once you've found the desired record, double-click on the required record to view the specific details.

If the search does not locate the required record, select β€œNew customer” from the bottom of the screen to be presented with a new CRM record for completion with the customer details.

To Delete a customer or Vehicle record click on the desired record from the search results and click the delete button in the bottom right-hand corner of the record. A record cannot be deleted if it has any activity attached such as a vehicle order, workshop booking or parts order. Please see 'How do I delete a Customer CRM record?' for further steps on how to do this.
