To improve control over CRM lost sales, an access level parameter in CRM can now be set to prevent users without relevant access from processing a lost sale.
This can be found within CRM > Parameters > Dealer Parameters > Enterprise Tab.
This feature will ensure any lost sales are reviewed in depth before being closed by users without relevant access.
For added control, an enterprise level parameter is now available in CRM parameters that will restrict users based, on their marketing access, to complete a lost sale from within the Sales Opportunity Dialog.
When a user without the required access attempts to lose the sale, a dialog will be displayed advising them they do not have sufficient permissions. They will then be required to advise a user with permissions to complete the lost sale. The parameter will be set at the lowest level on deployment; therefore no change to the existing process will be experienced unless the parameter is amended.
