How can I create an Account for a Technician on Time Management?
Answer
A Time Management Account can be created so that Technicians can clock on and off jobs from one terminal situated within the Workshop. They can select their name from the drop down, and complete the necessary tasks.
To create a login for a Time Management, the account will need to be set up using the following criteria:
Home Location - Set to relevant Workshop Department
System Role - Service Advisor
Time User - No
Enabled - Yes
Time Management Access Level - 99
The account will need to be created within the Administration module of Pinewood DMS.
Once set up, you can login to the account using the credentials set up initially and the page will display as below with the technicians names available in the drop down.
If you feel each technician should have their own unique PIN when selecting their name from the list, you can set these within:
Workshop > Parameters > Technician Details > Details
Select the Technician and see the field marked PIN:
Add the desired PIN to the field and once the Technician selects their name from the drop down within the main Time Management screen, it will prompt them for their PIN.
