When booking jobs how can I make a pop up appear for customers who have no Email against their record?
Answer
This will allow you to then add the Email in and make sure they receive they booking confirmation Email.
To do so you will need to go to CRM > Parameters > Customer Validation
On this screen you will need to click on amend and then choose Recommended from the drop down list. Then you will need to check the tick box under workshop.
Then click on save.
Once this is saved it will affect new customers and customers who are already on the system.
When you go to Workshop > Booking > New Booking and click on the customer and vehicle box.
This will open a pop up screen where you can look for the customer. Enter the customer details and then double click on their details. Then this will populate the customer information screen.
Click accept and this will bring up a pop up saying "Missing recommended fields" and it will show you the email and any other information that is missing.
You can then either add the information and click accept or press cancel and ignore the prompt.
You can also have this prompt come up in the parts module if you tick the parts tick box on the customer validation screen.
