How to resolve the VAT not pulling through to the Purchase of the Vehicle?

When a user purchases a VAT qualifying vehicle and the VAT does not pull through to the Purchase Tab on the stock card, this indicates that the tax number on the vehicle is the same as the Dealers default tax number (set in Administration - Company Structure). Pinewood DMS will automatically flag this as an internal purchase.
The solution to this issue is as follows.
Reverse the vehicle out of stock - amend the supplier order and change the tax number in the box highlighted below. Or this can be changed in the Supplier Parameters so it does not happen again in future.
Tax will now be added.
