General Parameters Setup

The fields in the General parameters are used to define the configuration of the inspection report as follows.

The Background Colour settings are used to configure the fill colour for the Header, Content, and Footer sections and the buttons.

The Fore Colour settings are used to configure the text colour overlaying the sections and buttons.

The Image Left / Right settings allow for the upload of an image (using the Browse… button) to display in the appropriate section of the header. Each of these can also be configured with a Link Text parameter to provide a click through from the image presented on the inspection report. The Delete Left / Right Image buttons can be used to remove images after they have been uploaded.

When the configuration options have been completed click Accept to save the detail.

General Parameters Preview

After saving the presentation parameters click the Preview button to display a popup giving an example of how the final inspection report will be configured from a colour/text perspective.

Specific Parameters

The Specific parameters are used to define text to be displayed based on the type of document being presented.

The Page Type allows the selection of either VHC or Job Progress. The latter is to support future development therefore VHC is the only option applicable for this release. Similarly, the opening text field does not apply to the VHC Page Type.

The Closing Text field should be populated with a message that will be presented after the customer has approved the work via the Inspection Report link. So something indicating a thank you message and information indicating that a confirmation email will be sent would be appropriate.
