How to add a new vehicle make/model/specification?
Answer
If a vehicle does not appear within the vehicle price list, this can be added manually.
Add New Vehicle Franchise:
Any franchises that have already had a price list created for them appear at the top left hand
side of the screen under the heading ‘Franchises’ – as this image shows, it is possible to have
price lists for numerous different franchises created under one company on the company
structure.
To begin creating a price list, click on the ‘New Make’ button on the bottom right hand side of
the screen. Once this has been selected, the screen will require specific information for the
manufacturer.
Parameter Information Required
Description Enter the name of the manufacturer.
Friendly Description is the name for the manufacturer that will appear for customers on invoices
Days before delivery to Prevent Amendment of
Specifications
Enter the number of days after which a manufacturer
cannot amend a supplier order.
Delivery If the manufacturer charges a set delivery rate for each
vehicle, it can be entered here, or at specification level.
Service Interval Miles Enter the Service Interval Miles here, or at specification
level. This will populate the CRM Aftersales Diary.
Service Interval Weeks Enter the Service Interval Weeks here, or at
specification level. This will populate the CRM
Aftersales Diary.
Once this information has been entered successfully, select ‘Save’ to confirm the changes and
add the manufacturer to the vehicle Price List.
Add New Model:
To do this go to Vehicles > Price List > New
Select the vehicle make:
To add a new model, click ‘New Model’ in the bottom of the screen.
Add the details of the new model and ‘save’:
Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to update delivery discount details:
Add all of the options available for this Model:
And click ‘Update’ to save the options:
Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to update price for all vehicle specifications:
Add all colour and accessories options:
This then adds the model to the list and specifications can be added:
Fill in the details and save:
And this will show in vehicle price list.
Please note: If a vehicle does not have a colour against the specification/model it will not show in Vehicle > Supplier Order > New.
