How would I add a new Non-Labour job type to a Purchase Order, when It does not appear?
Answer
When producing a purchase order, and required to select a Non-Labour Job Type however the one required is not generated then this can be set up within the Parameters Job Type screen:
Workshop > Parameters> Parameters
When you cannot view the Non-Labour Job Types simply select ‘Add’, and then the following pop up will be generated:
Within this box the user would be required to Name the new Non-Labour Job Type, and complete the Product Group, Tax, and Sales Nominals- this can be done through using the search icon situated next to the boxes.
Upon completing, select 'Accept', doing this it will have created the Non Labour Job Type
Only Non Labour Types with Products Groups assigned will appear within the Purchase Ordering screen.
From here, go to Purchase Orders > Raise> Subcontract
The below screen will be generated, the user can search using the displayed fields.
Select the Account that is required. The below screen will then follow, and the user will be required to complete the following fields.
Upon reaching the Charge Type, it will require the user to select their required Non Labour Job Type from here. This is where the new Job Types can be viewed from where the user had previously created within the Parameters screen.
