The Company Structure can be selected at the Division, Branch or Department level by the parameter set up for the user accessing this. If the user is limited to a specific branch within the parameters they will only be able to select the branch in question, or departments within it.
The Customer Type drop down menu contains three options; All Customers, New Customers and Existing Customers. If the new or existing options are selected, the report details returned will be filtered to customers who match the criteria. For example, if New is chosen then only newly created records will be included if Existing is selected then the โNewโ customer records will be excluded.
A date range can be specified if required โ useful if an introduction source has been created
within the CRM parameters to relate to a specific dealership marketing campaign or event, or
if a particular advertisement is being run for a specific period and analysis of its success is required.
If a date range is selected then a total for the date range will be reported for each Introduction
Source.
If no date range is selected, each introduction source is displayed, along with the number of CRM records to which it has been attached. These values are broken out into bands relating to periods โ โThis Weekโ, โThis Monthโ and โThis Yearโ. Finally, a โTotalโ column is included.
Each introduction source containing a resulting value for either โThis Weekโ, โThis Monthโ, โThis Yearโ or the โTotalโ can be interrogated further by double clicking to display the customer records for the chosen source.
The Introduction Source report can be printed by selecting the โPrintโ option from the bottom of the screen.
In this way, the effectiveness of different advertisements or advertising methods can easily be
assessed by dealership staff, allowing for a more productive allocation of marketing spending.
