The Enquiry Defaults enables the pre-population of contact information for the different types of enquiries that occur within the dealership.

Example: Internet Enquiry
β€’ Enquiry category = Sales
β€’ User = The sales person who deals with incoming internet leads
β€’ Intro Source = Web Enquiry
β€’ Sales department = Department lead is to go to
β€’ Contact reason = Enquiry (Contact reason that creates a sales opportunity)
β€’ Contact Method = Web
β€’ Enquiry Source = Website/ Manufacturer lead
β€’ Enquiry Type = Sales

 

Internet Enquiries and Web Email Enquiries will affect Edition / API leads / Manufacturing 

Walk In and Telephone will affect customers created in Showroom

Host+ will affect customers created in the Host+ app


Based on these defaults contact history will be updated with these details as part of the first contact with the customer.
