How to prepare for PDI?

Within Vehicles β Stock Management β Prepare for PDI
Search for the required vehicle and double click into the screen. The following page will be presented.
The top portion of the screen will show a brief summary of the vehicle with a box that can be clicked to bring up the vehicle stock card.
Current workshop operations: This section will show any current outstanding PDI requests that have been booked or received against this vehicle and what status it is on as well as what workshop it is in.
A PDI can be added by using the new operations section at the bottom.
Date: What date will show against the PDI
Department: What workshop department the PDI request will be sent to
Template: If templates are set up they can be selected from here β this will autofill the job field. These are set withinΒ Workshop > Parameters > PDI Operation Template.Β
Job: What description will show on the operation line in the workshop job
Pressing add will add it to the right hand portion of the screen and into the internal bookings section in workshop waiting to be received in. Pressing clear will clear any existing information so you can start from scratch. Finally delete will allow a PDI request to be deleted so long as it hasnβt been processed in the workshop in any way.
If there is no CRM record for the vehicle the following will display
Pressing next on the PDI screen will bring up the following if estimated preparation is switched on.
This allows an amount to be entered which is the maximum value the workshop can invoice the work for. It will also write an accrual amount against the stock card. This shows as following on the costs tab of the stock card.
Once a value is entered the following will show.
This then allows the value to be put against a specific miscellaneous cost type.
Pressing the PDI requests button will bring up a summary of all PDIβs against this vehicle.
