How do I bring a new vehicle into stock?

Answer

Within Vehicles > Bring into stock > New vehicle.

Search for the vehicle using the available fields:

Then double click into the correct vehicle:

Location/vehicle profile: Custom field that can be set up – set up covered in another article.

In stock date: The date the vehicle was in stock.

In stock time: The time the vehicle was in stock.

VIN/Engine number/Engine size.

CO₂ emissions: Typed fields.

Body style/Fuel type/Interior/transmission: Drop-down boxes set up in vehicle data – set up covered in another article.

Vehicle type: e.g., passenger, LCV, etc

Right or left-hand drive.

User defined fields

Custom set up fields. Set up is covered in another article.

You can then press Next or Cancel at the bottom. Pressing cancel will lose all progress.

Pressing next will prompt you to select a marketing location, if your parameters are set up to create a Marketing Record for the vehicle at this stage.

Filling this in then pressing next will then prompt if you want to confirm the vehicle costs.
