The Product Sales report displays Products that have been sold, either via the vehicle
invoicing routine or by being added to a vehicle CRM record. To access the report go to Vehicles > Reporting > Product Sales > Sales.

Various filters can be used to generate the report.

The Report Type can be used to specify what information is to be displayed on the report with regards to the products that have been sold:
Sales Analysis will display a row for each individual sale of a product detailing the product
name, product code, category, registration number, customer, sales person and the date the
product was sold.
Sales Summary by Product, Sales Person or Customer will summarise the sales of products
by Product, Sales Person or Customer.
Profit Analysis will display each product sold and detail the retail price, cost price and profit
value.
Profit Summary by Product will display each product on individual rows and show the retail
and cost price, average retail and cost price and average profit and total profit.

Profit Summary by Sales Person will display the same information as Profit Summary by
Product, but is broken down by Sales Person.
Expiry Date Analysis will display each product sold and include the date sold and the start
date and expiry date of the product.

The report can also be filtered by Branch – only branches within the current division are
available for selection.

The Product Type, which is defined when a product is created can be selected as a filter,
as can Sales Type. The options for Sales Type are Vehicle Invoice Sales, which will only
return results for products sold through the Vehicle invoice routine, Non Vehicle Invoice Sales
which will only return products added through the CRM vehicle record.
Other filters include Sales Person, Customer Surname, Registration Number, and Purchased
Dates, as well as the ability to report on specific Miscellaneous Costs or Products.
Once the Report Options have been selected click β€˜View Report’.
Double click on an individual row to access the vehicle stock card, and, as on the other reports,
the column headings act as filters.
Results can also be exported to Excel by clicking β€˜Export’. There is also the option to Print the report.
