Select the Add button to add a new category. Enter the category name into the Description Field, select
to make the category active, and select Accept. The created category will then appear in the list. To
amend an existing category, drill into that category. Please Note, a Deposit Category name cannot be
amended after the category has been used against a Deposit. This can only be changed to be made
active or inactive.

Once set, when taking a deposit from within a CRM record or Vehicle Order, there will be a Category drop-down menu with all active Deposit Categories. Assigning a Category is optional.

If one is selected, the Category will appear on the Deposit Receipt. The category will need to be added
to any HTML Templates for Deposits and can also be added to the Customer Order and Invoice
templates.

If the Deposit is later consumed, transferred or refunded, the category will appear on the documents.
Deposit category also appears on Customer Order and Vehicle Invoice/Cancel Invoice documents.

Reporting

The Vehicle Deposits report and the Vehicle Daybook have been updated to include deposit categories.

A filter has been added to filter the report by Category.
