If a Vehicle has an existing marketing record prior to invoice and the location is different to the Sales Location set when creating the Customer Order in Vehicles > Customer Order > Create/Amend, upon invoice the CRM Location will update to the Sales Location set here. This feature will allow any Contact Plan events to be created and dealt with from the correct Sales Location.
Below is a view of a Vehicle CRM record with the Location highlighted before it has been invoiced under a different Sales Location:
When creating the Customer Order in Vehicle > Customer Order > Create, the Sales Location is set at Training 2 Sales:
Once Invoiced via Vehicles > Invoicing > Invoice, the CRM Location will update to the one set on the Customer Order:
If there is an outstanding workshop job, the CRM Vehicle location will not be updated when invoicing the sale. In this scenario the user will be presented with a message (as shown below).
Selecting Yes will invoice the vehicle and not update the location on the CRM record for the vehicle. Selecting No will return the user to the Invoice screen.
