How do I cancel a Workshop Booking?
Answer
There are a number of methods available to find a workshop booking. The easiest method is shown below:-
Select Workshop Booking Diary from the side menu.
Select the ‘Booking Search’ option to open the search window.
A number of search fields are available including ‘Surname’, ‘Postal Code', ‘Reg Number’ ‘Company Name’, and ‘VIN’.
To search for a booking enter customer or vehicle detail and select search, if a booking exists the result is displayed.
Double click on the search result to open the booking.
When selecting ‘Cancel Booking’, the following question will be asked
“This will remove this booking. Continue?”
Select ‘No’ to return to the booking screen. Select ‘Yes’ to record a ‘Lost Sale’.
Select an appropriate lost sale reason from the drop down menu and enter notes as required.
Select ‘Accept’ to record a lost sale and cancel the booking.
Note: The results of this action can be viewed in the ‘Customer Retention’ report within reporting
