How can I cancel out of the invoice payment screen, if it has an insurance excess on it?
Answer
Once you hit invoice on a workshop job with insurance excess entered into it you will not be able to cancel out of the process until the invoice is fully produced.
When you invoice a workshop job with excess on you will be asked which account the excess will go to. If you select a credit account the invoice will go straight through. If you choose a cash account then you will get the payment screen as below;
You will not be able to cancel from this screen, it will loop round and not allow you out of the job. You must complete all invoices.
If you have hit the invoice button in error you will have to manually raise and produce a credit once the invoice is complete and raise the workshop job again in this instance.
