📝 Why Can't I Select a Printer when Printing Within Workshop?

Question

Why am I not given the option of selecting a printer when printing out from within Workshop?

I am given the below:

But then don't get the option of a selecting the printer:

Answer

This is due to a parameter being set so it will just default to your PC's default printer.

This parameter is set in:

Workshop > Parameters > Parameters > General 2

Default Printer

If this parameter is ticked the Workshop module will just automatically print to your default printer, without giving you the option to select a printer.

if this is option is left un-ticked, then you will get the pop-up for a printer selector and you can select which ever printer you wish to print from.
