How would a Technician using the TECH+ application add a Pre-set dictionary code to workshop operations?
Answer
Firstly, you will need to be Logged into TECH+ and clocked onto the job you want to add the Dictionary code to, once logged into the Application select 'Find a Job' and here you can search by Customer Name, Vehicle Make/Model, Job Number, or Vehicle Reg.
Once you have selected the Job you are wanting to add a Dictionary code into, select the Plus icon (Highlighted Below)
This will then Direct you into the 'Add Operation' Screen, in here you will need to select a requirement in which you want to apply this new Operation to and select any Mandatory fields which are marked with an Asterisk(*)
Within the 'Details' Field, enter here your Dictionary code followed by forward-slash (/) Example is shown below.
Upon clicking Save Operation, you will then notice that the Operation is now showing on this Job for the Technician to clock onto, with the pre-set Description that is setup within Dictionary Codes parameters on Pinewood DMS.
