How do I find a Workshop Job in Tech+, and clock onto and off an operation?
Answer
There are 4 different ways for a Technician to find a Workshop Job within the TECH+ Application.
Firstly, you will need to log-in onto the TECH+ Application and then select the workshop department you work in which will clock you in onto 'Idle'
Once you have clocked In, select the highlighted field below which is 'Find a Job'
Within this screen, you are able to search for a Job 4 different ways;
1) Search by Job Number
2) Search by Customer Name
3) Search by Vehicle Make/Model
4) Search by Reg Number
Once you have found the job you are wanting to clock onto, select this line and it will give you an overview of Operations on this Job as shown below
Select the operation you want to start working on and click 'Start Operation'
Once you are clocked onto the operation it will show this at the bottom toolbar within the application to show you which Job Number, Operation number and also the total time you have been clocked onto that line.
Within the 'Operations' tab it will also have a flag above the operation line which states 'current operation' which you can see which operation you are currently clocked onto.
To clock off the operation, you will need to click the operation line you are currently clocked onto and then select 'Finish Current Operation' as shown below
In the next screen, enter the vehicle mileage and then select a finish reason for this operation:
It will then prompt you to select any of the following options:
You will then return to Idle time.
