Question

Part or All of my Vehicle Price List is missing or has accidentally been deleted. How can I restore this?

Answer

If you need to recover various Price List data, such as the Model or Spec of vehicles that used to be available but now seem to be missing, the way to recover this is to go to:

Vehicles > Price List > New

Make

Users are no longer able to delete Vehicle Makes from the Price List. Please contact Support if you wish to delete a Vehicle Make from the Price List.

Β

Model

If you are missing a vehicle model, you will need to click into the vehicle make it comes underΒ need to press "New Model" in the bottom right, and in the description field if you type the missing model, spelt the same as it was before it was deleted, then click save, you will then get the pop-up asking:

Select Yes.

You will then see that it has recovered the vehicle model and all the specs that came underneath it.

Β

Specification

If you are missing a vehicle specification, you will need to click on the vehicle make it comes under, then the vehicle model it comes under, you will then need to press "New Spec" in the bottom right, and in the description field if you type the missing specification, spelt the same as it was before it was deleted, then click save, you will then get the pop-up asking:

Select Yes

You will then see that it has recovered the vehicle specification, with the options ticked against it that were previously.

Please Note: The spelling of the Model or Specification will need to be exactly the same including any special characters or capital letters when restoring the Price List

If you are unaware of how the model name was spelt, you can check in several places for how it was spelt.

There are several places you can go to the vehicle stock card then to the CRM record and amend to copy the model to ensure the absolute correct spelling.

A few more are explained below;

1) CRM - Selections

Going through this route you can use the letter "a" and this will show all records with a model after the single character 'a'.

Once found you can then re-add the model using the spelling here.

Β

2) CRM - Sales Reports - Activity - Daily Sales

With this route, you will simply need to select a date and create the report.

Double click on the branch, this will show all vehicles that were sold during that day.

Double click a vehicle with the required model, go to the CRM record and amend. This way you will be able to get the exact spelling.

Β

3) Vehicles - Reporting - Stock Lists - Stock List

Finally, with this route, you can see all vehicles that are in stock.

You will be able to drill into any vehicle that you need, and then continue through to the CRM record to get the correct spelling.
