Answer

If you have tried to open Pinewood DMS in Edge and have noticed you get an error message showing 'Client MSXML Parser Compliancy Failure. You will need to download and install MSXML6 to use the system' you will need to add the URL to the IE Mode settings within Edge.

Open up a Microsoft Edge window.

In the search bar, enter: edge://settings/defaultBrowser

Firstly, click 'Make Default' on the 'Make Microsoft Edge your default browser' setting:

Set 'Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge' to 'Incompatible Sites Only':

Then set 'Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode' to 'Allow':

Now add your Pinewood DMS URL to the 'Internet Explorer mode pages' by clicking Add:

And then enter your Pinewood DMS URL, including the HTTP://

Click Add once more and your Pinewood DMS URL will be added to the pages list.

Adding your Pinewood DMS URL to this setting will need to be repeated every 90 days. The settings will state when the URL expires in the list:

This step will need to be completed for all Pinewood DMS URLs you may have access to.

Now you are able to open your Pinewood DMS URL in Edge.

When you first load this, a pop-up blocker will activate automatically when trying to load the URL:

Select the Pop-up blocked message and change the option to 'Always allow pop-ups and redirects from...':

Select 'Done' and then reload the page, your DMS will open on the login screen.
