Are there additional settings required for IE Mode in Edge to run on Windows 7?

In order for Internet Explorer Mode to work in Edge on the Windows 7 OS, your IT Support will need to follow the below Microsoft Guide:

This Guide states that:
"While Microsoft Edge helps keep you more secure on the web, your PC may still be vulnerable to security risks. In order for IE mode to be supported on these operating systems, the devices will need to have the Extended Security Updates for Windows 7. Without the Windows 7 Extended Security updates Internet Explorer functionality will be vulnerable to security risks. Additionally, IE mode functionality may cease to work without the continued servicing through extended security updates."
These additional settings will need to be downloaded and actioned by IT Support and not Pinewood Support.
Please Note: Microsoft has stated in the above guide that Edge will only be supported on Windows 7 until 15/01/2023.
