How do I enable Fixed Pricing to be used in the Workshop Module?
Answer
You may wish to enable Fixed Pricing in the Workshop module so that you are able to dictate a Fixed Price against a job that contains Labour or Parts and Labour. This is possible by selecting the Fixed Price Option against an operation.
To enable this feature navigate to Workshop > Parameters >Parameters > Fixed Price.
Here you can select to enable Fixed Price at Invoice.
You can apply an Access Level to this to that only individuals with this access level are able to apply Fixed Pricing to an Invoice.
You can also dictate the Workshop Percentage. This will be the value entered into this field will determine what percentage of the write off / uplift will be written back to the labour nominal code.
You can also dictate the Parts Percentage. This will be the value entered into this field will determine what percentage of the write off / uplift will be written back to the parts nominal code.
In the Customer Types box, you can add the relevant Nominal Codes to where the values should post based on customer type. You will need to also select a Nominal for the Workshop and Parts Values.
