This feature will give the ability to individually price New Vehicle Stock. Any difference between the
Manufacturer Recommended Retail Price (MRRP) and the Selling price will then be automatically added
to the stock card as a discount.
The selling price can be set on an individual stock item basis, either by amending it directly on the stock
card or by using the import feature.
If your initial selling price is always different to the Manufacturer Recommended Retail Price (MRRP)
then this can still be handled by setting this up on the price list and the discount will be applied as soon
as the Supplier Order is created and can be later updated on a stock card by stock card basis.
Stock Card – Vehicle Tab
For new vehicles, the MRRP will display alongside the Selling Price. This price will be added onto the
stock card at the time of Supplier Order creation.
Changing the Retail prices on the Price List will not be reflected on any existing Supplier Order or Stock
Vehicles and will only be used for newly created supplier orders.
The MRRP is calculated using the 'Retail' values from the price list and includes the Vehicle, Factory
Fit Options, Delivery and VAT.
The Selling price is the same calculation but instead uses the Selling Price values.
Sale Tab
The values displayed for Vehicle and Factory Fit Options will be the Manufacturer Recommended Retail
Price. A discount will be automatically applied where there is a difference between the MRRP and the
Selling Price, the value will be added into the 'Discount' section to give the correct total Selling Price.
While on customer order the sales tab will continue to show the current customer order values.
Customer Order and Quote
When creating a customer order (or a quote) the values displayed are the same as you see on the
Sales Tab above, if you use default products then these will still be applied.
If you use Sales Discount Types then the discount value can be set against a specific type at this time.
Update Selling Price - Stock Card
The selling price can be updated on the stock card by clicking 'Amend' then typing in the new selling
price. Amendment audit entries will be created if any changes are made.
When you save the stock card, the new discount will be reflected on the Sales tab.
In the below example, the selling price has been updated to be to be 85,500.00
If the vehicle was on Customer Order at the time of update then the sales tab will still reflect the
Customer Order values, if the order is subsequently cancelled then the updated selling price discounts
will display.
