Why do my technicians register as idle during their breaks?
Answer
The reason why technicians clockings are shown as idle when taking breaks is because technicians would usually clock off a job but not clock out for a break. Clocking off a job would place the technician on idle automatically.
To clock out, a technician is required to follow the steps below:
Clocking out from Pinewood DMS:
- User should navigate to the Time Management Module in Pinewood DMS
- User should click on the Clock Out button
Clocking out from Tech+:
- User should click on the 3 lines menu at the bottom left corner of the screen
- User should then click on the Clock Out option
