Question

Why do I get the error "The invoice value is greater than the agreed price" when trying to invoice a Workshop job for a PDI request?

Answer

The reason this occurs is because is the agreed price for the PDI request is lower than the invoice to be produced by the workshop.

A way to rectify this, is to increase the agreed price to match the invoice price for the job.

To do so, navigate to Vehicles > Stock Management > Prepare for PDI.

Search for the vehicle and click on Accept, then double click on the result.

Within this screen, double click on the PDI job that was received by the workshop.

You may now amend the agreed price to match the invoice price for the PDI job.

Add the new value and select the Next button.

When going back to Produce Invoice within the Workshop module, you will see the value has now updated.
