Each area of Pinewood DMS is used to calculate labour rates, however some specific fields may not generate the information and therefore this will filter down. The first area that is checked is the Category specific against Sales Ledger Account Labour Rate. This can be viewed within Workshop > Parameters > Labour Rates. The Labour Rates screen consists of two tabs; Account and Model. By default, the Account tab will be displayed:
This screen details labour rates set against specific accounts, showing the account code on the left and the labour rate on the right adjacent. The model tab you can see at the top of the screen will detail the labour rates for specific vehicle models:
If the labour rate can still not be calculated at this point it will move to the Category Labour Rate. This will only be enabled if categories have been set up. This can be checked within Workshop > Parameters > Categories. Categories display:
