📝 Showroom Daily Sales Report

The Daily Sales report within Showroom is a detailed log to help track the sales that have been made from Showroom and the vehicles module within a chosen date range, which also breaks down the financial side of the sale. 

This report can be found in Showroom > Reporting > Daily Sales

You can filter the report using the following options to narrow down your search.

Fields to search:

Company Structure – Allows you to filter to a specific Enterprise, Company, Division, Branch or Department

Report by – filter between sales location and vehicle branch 

New/used – Filter between New, used or both

Order Status – Filter between customer order and Invoiced

Deal type – All, Retail or Trade

Approval – Awaiting approval, approved or all

 

Values within the report:

Profit Per Unit

Metal profit 

F&I 

Other Profit 

The Values within this report are dependent on what set up is held within DataPoint > Parameters > Vehicles - Profit Analysis Mappings tab:

By Clicking Amend in here users are able to select what they want considering within each value. This is available for the Metal, F&I and Other columns.

If you wish to only see sales that have been invoiced within the Daily Sales Report, you can set the 'Order Status' filter to 'Invoiced' or if you wish to see sales that are still on customer order, then leave the filter to the default option 'Customer Order'.

If you wish to move up one level of company structure once the report has been created, click the following folder icon:mceclip4.png.

Once you press 'create' the report will be generated.

The display at the top of the report will show you the total values for the period, it includes units sold, gross profit, profit per unit (average), metal, finance & insurance, and any other associated revenue.

These values are shown in the body of the report for each individual sale and are associated with the customer and vehicle information on the left-hand side.

You can drill into each individual sale by double-clicking it, this will bring up the Vehicle Stock Card on the Financial Summary tab.

Here you can see specific figures related to the vehicle and it's sale.

To interrogate the report even further, there is an option to export the report to Microsoft Excel by pressing the 'Export' button.

The Microsoft Excel version will provide more detailed figures, such as Approval Status, Type of Sale and Sale Location.
