I can't send a VHC to a customer? How do I resolve this?

Answer

This will be due to specific Customer Contact Preferences not being set to allow communication from Contact Methods.

To check this you will need to go to the customers profile within CRM > Enquiry - Search for the customer's name and drill into their profile.

Within the CRM Profile click the 'Contact' tab

Within the contact tab, you can see the 'Allowed Contact Methods' section under 'Contact Status'. To add or amend the customers contact history click the 'Add Contact History' button.

Tick the contact methods you wish to enable for the customer and click save.

*PLEASE NOTE*: You must get customer approval for contact methods before turning them on for the customer.

Once these contact methods have been enabled - you should be able to send a VHC to a customer via Email or SMS.
