DMS Setup
In order for Authorised Idle reasons to display within Tech+, they must first be set up within the DMS. To set up these reasons, go to Workshop > Parameters > Time management > Reasons. From the dropdown select Allowed Idle:
This screen will show a list of the descriptions that are already set up as allowed idle reasons.
In order to add a new reason, click add. Add a description and then click save to have this displayed as a reason.
App Process
Within the Tech+ app, the user can view Authorised Idle Reasons set up from the Main Screen by clicking the tile:
These idle reasons can be set to give clarity over a Technicians's current status, which can be reflected on reports within the DMS.
Clicking into one of the idle reasons will set this status for the Technician which will display within the bottom left next to the ellipses.
