I have a yellow bar appearing along the top of my system saying 'Please ensure this is a trusted site and when prompted, select "Run" to install the Pinnacle Smart Client'. How do I resolve/get rid of this?

This will fix the issue when the SMART Client error appears at the top of Pinewood DMS (as below) or any other error with Smart Client.
First thing to do is check that your Pinewood DMS URL is set as a trusted site. To do this, open up Edge and go to the address edge://settings/?search=internet+options and click into this.
Once clicked, a pop up box will appear. Click 'security' at the top.
Then click 'Trusted Sites'
Make sure that the security level is set to medium, as shown in the red box at the bottom.
Click the 'sites' button to then bring up the next box.
Add your Pinewood DMS URL to the Trusted Sites list, by entering the URL (including https://) at the beginning in the 'Add this website to the Zone' box and then click Add:
