How to add a Test Drive on Host+?
Answer
You are able to use Host + to add a Test Drive to a customer.
Please Note: for this feature to be available some setup within the DMS will need to be completed first. See the April 2021 Release Notes for details.
When you are on the Host + App Click onto customer search
On this page you should now enter the customer's details you have and click search, the results will be shown here, click onto the customer you wish to add a test drive for.
This will open their customer information, in the top right-hand corner there will be an orange box with a symbol inside, click on this.
This will bring up the Demonstrator Diary, showing you all the vehicles you have for a test drive here.
Any vehicle in the Green Column is available to book for a test drive now, those in the amber column will be back soon and also display a time they are due back into the dealership. The red column shows any vehicles which cannot be booked at that time.
Once you can see the vehicle you wish to test drive then select the Orange Arrow on it:
This will open the Test Drive Declaration which the customer will need to read through and accept, once accepted the customer will be prompted to sign on the following screen, then click Sign and an email pop up will appear, this will send a copy of this to the customer, click send if happy with the displayed email address.
The customer information screen will now be displayed again, and in order to view the booking, click onto the Recent Contacts tab, where this will be updated and show the Test Drive Vehicle Details.
