Future contact is too far in the future, how do I fix this?
Answer
When adding a future contact to a CRM record, if the message "Future Contact Is Too Far In The Future, Please Re-select The Next Contact Date" is displayed (see visual illustration below):
This is because the future contact date has been allocated a date in the future that exceeds the number of days set within the parameters for booking future contacts.
This parameter is called "Maximum Future Contact Time Frame" and can be found in the following location; CRM > Parameters > Dealer Parameters > Enterprise tab (see visual illustration below):
This parameter is used to prevent users adding/accidentally adding future contacts too far into the future.
