Sometimes when the user's try to take payments using pay+ it will not connect to the PDQ machines.Β

When this happens the terminal might have gone to "sleep" because it was not used for a day or maybe more.Β
When you want to take a payment make sure the Terminal is not on the charging stand, then press the red button once as this often wakes up the terminal.Β This should then allow the Pay+ app to connect to the terminal.
If this does not work, you should restart the terminal.
To do so hold the Red button on the terminal until it starts beeping. Then let go of the button and the terminal should shut down.
Leave it off for 30 seconds and then hold the green button to restart the terminal.
Once the Terminal has restarted it should let you take the payment.
