Cardholder not present transaction are handled in much the same way as a record ICC or swipe transaction.
The difference is that when selecting a terminal to take the payment on in Pay+ you must also tell the app that the customer is not present.
Initiate a deposit in the system as detailed above, and locate payment in the Payments list on the Pay+ app. Before you choose βPay usingβ¦β option, untick the βCardholder presentβ check box.
Follow through with instructions presented on the payment device. These are the following status message (in order of appearance) that you can expect to see on the app as you complete a CNP payment:
Please note that postcode entry will only be the numbers, not the letters.
If entered details are correct and matched, payment will be completed successfully and the following screen will be displayed (same as successful chip & pin or swiped transaction):
